So, I was given a george forman for christmas but haven't much of a clue what to use it for.

Does anyone have any good ideas for decent meals/snacks to produce using one??? what sort of things should I be grilling/cooking for a healthy meal?

And also are George Formans healthier than traditional methods of cooking due to all the fat/grease that gets drained out of the food???

thanks for any ideas or answers to my questions.

Meat, grill some meat :p

Thats what its all about, chicken boobs, chops, cheap steak(save the good stuff for the pan), homemade burgers just get some mince herbs and spices diced onion bit of garlic maybe an egg yolk to bind it all together shape them and slap it on

I'd bin it and use a proper grill. They just squeeze all the juice out of the meant and leave it dry.

you can do sandwiches and all sorts in a george foreman.

veggie burgers, waffles, fish (most frozen food).

i even do my pizza on the george foreman, what i do is stick my pizza in the grill for 15 mins (which cooks the top) then stick it on the george foreman (griddle side) to cook the base.

ciabatta's, bagels, potato scones, bacon, sausages, eggs ( i have the foreman with a griddle).

some things cook better in a foreman and others better in a pan or oven. best to experiment and use common sense.
