Thought i would try in here first seen as it is the food thread but anybody could answer this....

For over a year I have seeked a Germknodel, i cannot find any in the UK anywhere!!!!

Well plenty of bank holidays later and its going through my head how good it would go with a beer.....

Please someone tell me where i can get one!

Was looking at booking a hol over there again, then just got the craving, ended up with jam roly poly instead

Why not just make it your self. It doesn't look hard at all. In fact it sounds very interesting.

Lidl have said there is a possibility at the end of may, dont have a aldi near me

I don't think a jam roly poly quite matches

I was quite hesitant when I had ordered one. Especially when it came out with what looked like fag ash scattered all over the top. Still it was actually quite nice.

Just buy. Spiced plum jam, if you can't find it locally you can buy it online.

Its a yeast dumpling with spiced plum jam in. normally served with a vanilla sauce and poppy seeds.

Everyone has to try it
