Get another 780 or wait for newer cards ?

I have a friend moving country and he's selling his rig bit by bit and he offered me his 780 for £350.
Should I take it and go SLI or wait for Maxwell, AMD is out of the question as I love the Physx option in games too much i.e Batman etc... as well as CUDA which my brother uses quite a lot in his work.

Ok bought it, SLI 780 here I come, Think I'll stick with this setup until the 2nd iteration of maxwell i.e 2015.

FPS depends on game largely. E.g. FFXIV only gets around 35 fps in cities even with SLI 780s. Similar phenomenon to Wow when lots of players online/on server. Down to poorly optimised games using low thread numbers mainly and not much GPU.

Think about it though man, now you're SLI 780's you don't have to miss out on Maxwell, all you have to do now is save for one and get a second after flogging your 780's.

Nope, Only 1080P but I'm currently shopping around for a 1400P/1600P monitor, Just have no idea what to go for, Was also thinking 3D maybe.

I mainly play Battlefield 3, SWTOR, A few single players games i.e Crysis Series, AC Series, Batman Arkham Series etc... So the cards will get worked well

I'd prefer to get the second iteration of Maxwell so then a lot of the bugs and kinks are ironed out and the process is more mature
