after a very sensible and slow drive to my Mum and Dads today(140 mile round trip managed a quite amazing 42.5 mpg in the LCR

albeit i were driving like a granny at no more than 70 at any point but woot thoroughly impressed,

that said managed the same journey on Fathers day(Yesterday) with an average of 18.7 mpg :)

You missed my point. I don't (didn't) think that anyone would care about his fuel consumption.

I was wrong evidently. LCR fuel consumption data between people who already know it has obviously become fascinating.

stuff of legend :) seeing that average mpg above 30 let alone 40 is miracle stuff.

back to the real day to day stuff tommorow so will be down in the 20's as usual :(

one for the lcr owners, whats the lowest you've had on the instant :)

i had 1.8 mpg on the instant on sunday :)

your obviously not trying hard enough :)

giving it stick off a round about it briefly hit 1.8 then settled around 8mpg whilst accelerating up the a90

Where have you been? he makes up all sorts of random crap for effect, you learn to ignore it after a while.

shut it student boy,

go tell someone how fantastic 530's are :) :) :)

maybe i misread it, tend to try and keep eyes on the road when giving it some, i'll go give it some stick tommorow and see what comes up :)

LOL proper buuurn.

.
nah part of the job, we hit punters with standard 40 quid valet charge for that round these parts what irks me is the used needles we occasionaly get left

fox is just jealous because he bought a beemer rather than a Skoda :)

Normal service is resumed,

Took wifey to work this morning as i'm doing the brakes on the lcr today :) 16mpg on a 20 mile round trip:D:D:D

I've managed 40.2 MPG out of the S3 before on a run to Devon and back with the missus and a car full of stuff. That was doing 60mph pretty much everywhere and the MPG figure calculated properly

Am currently getting between 32 and 36 MPG depending on how much town driving I do. Am pretty impressed with it actually, although it doesn't take much for that figure to plummet if hooning it around!

This is on a 210 S3 remapped to ~265 BHP

snap remapped to 265 with sa bmc

I got 19mpg average out of the Z4 today.

I want, no demand, some coolpoints for that tbh

FOX WHERES THE Z4 REVIEW FFS

why were we not informed i demand you post a review up asap :)

but hey 19 mpg kudos for driving it like you should :)

not good enough i demand an indepth review and comparison to golf gti's and 530's

but 19mpg :) pray tell what z4?

Have to say - I get kick out of inching my average mpg up with motorway trips.

Proof, if ever it was required, that I have a very small penis.

i managed it the other day then undid all my good work with some sub 20 mpg fun today :)

The very best I've ever managed in my CTR was during a trip consisting of 95% motorway, resulting in an average of 31mpg from a tank. That's sitting at 75-80mph most of the time.

42.5 from an LCR is damn good!

doing the same run later on this week :)

dont know whether to aim for 15 mpg or 45 mpg :)
