If anyone remembers that scene from the South Park Movie, I'm currently having an extended one myself.
Long story short, Windows Update turned into Windows Reset after the former kept appearing with just a blank screen. Despite checking the option to retain installed programmes and data, it didn't and I'm now having to rebuild everything.
Particular issues with email client(s) not working. The new version of "Mail" that Win 10 now installs took my BT account but I couldn't get the wife's to take. Managed to dig out the old Windows Live Mail installer and set that up, neither account works. Successfully logged into BT (Yahoo) webmail but trying to change passwords just got the something bad has happened... message.
The reset also deleted all my stored emails from the AppData folder.
Wife is doing her nut about it, just to add to the delightful outcome...
Any suggestions to fix the email would be appreciated!
