Does this phrase work for anyone else.
My new lens for repeater light on wing mirror came today - got the lens in ok but the cover on wing mirror wouldn't have it till I uttered the magic words along with a slap. :)

Not for me, but then my car is a bit more demonic. Nothing works or fits, ever, until the car has had a blood sacrifice.

My impreza used to demand a blood sacrifice when ever I washed it
Somewhere around the front number plate area was a very sharp bit which I could never find, but when I washed it would always find me and end up with a bleeding slice on a finger or my hand

worked for me the other week, when I managed to force the connector out of a hose connector. It popped out under large amounts of water pressure and I tried to pop it back in and eventually with the help of a plumbing wrench thing and the title of this thread I fixed it.

Probably just my ineptitude, but whenever I worked on cars when I was younger, pretty much always ended up cutting or skinning myself.

I think my worst was whilst doing some minor work one evening under a car. Was using a lead-lamp. Stood up to go back in the house, but was basically blind because of the lamp. Tried walking through the front door hole, missed by a metre, and broke my nose hard enough to heard in the kitchen.
