Just landed ( :) ) we have the brand new Kolink Rocket Mini-ITX Case. Encased on brushed anodised 2mm aluminium, the Rocket sits at a mere 9.6L in size, yet can hold a 310mm dual slot VGA card, an SFX or SFX-L power supply, 2 x 2.5" SSD/HDD's and a Mini-ITX motherboard. This is achieved through the use of a PCIe 3.0 x16 Riser Cable Module, the same as utilized in Lian-Li's cases, which are proven to be amongst the most reliable riser cables available. Cooling is achieved both passively through the aluminium exterior, with sufficient airflow for the VGA card and power supply due to perforations on both sides of the Rocket. This is helped further by a high performance HDB PWM 80mm fan at the top of the chassis. There's room for a 54mm CPU cooler to top it all off.

These are ideal for any of you that missed out on a DAN Case earlier this month, or put off by the unit cost. There's something to be said about putting a 1080Ti & 8700k in a system the size of a shoebox! Having had a hands on with this a few months ago, I was impressed by the quality & the aesthetics, and for those looking for a tiny powerhouse system, this ticks all the boxes.

On the one hand it's cheaper, on the other, they've obviously seen people will pay a really high price for a very, very, very low feature case with extremely low capacity.

Are there any plans for another colour?
Love that there's front USB connectors on this one, I assume you can swap out the 80mm fan if you want?

No plans for another colour at this time, and yes, you can change the fan, but it's a pretty decent Powerlogic made HDB fan with PWM, so unless you have something even better I'd advise against it :)

Ah, that's good to know, last time I had an 80mm case fan was years back when some were known for noise more than cooling!

That's a huge amount of money for what is essentially a Chinese/Taiwanese knock off of the Dan Case. Don't get me wrong, it looks great and well made but that price.. WOW!

£100 cheaper than the DAN Case. 2mm aluminium throughout (thicker than the DAN Case out of interest), a good quality riser cable included too. I'd say for someone wanting a SFF case under 10L that can fit a full sized dual slot card, it's pretty good value considering the competition.

Is this not a rip off of the Dan case? pretty much identical, surely some form of copyright infringement?

Made in China/Taiwan means copyright means nothing..

I am not saying that its not a good case but its silly money for something that uses about £20 of metal. Obviously the R&D etc would have already been done etc... It wouldn't surprise me if this came out of the same factory as the Dan Case but with slightly different specs to try and circumnavigate the copyright stuff. Boy Lian Li OEM really do not give a monkeys about peoples designs, exclusivity etc.

Good quality PCI-E riser cables don't grow on trees, maybe think about adding that into your somewhat inaccurate estimation of the product cost. Maybe the HDB PWM fan too. It all adds up.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £285.62 (includes shipping: £8.70)

£100 case , gueasing if it was direct sell from OEM would be cheaper , and compete with Jonsbo a little more. But ITX just pulls in the expensive ccrowd, less is more :D
