Don't see a massive amount of use for this with the Vive due to the fact it comes with the Link Box, which you can plug in to your PC and have sitting on your desk ready to plug in the 3-in-1 cable to the VR Headset.

Only really useful for the Vive as the Rift requires 3 x USB3.0 ports so you'll still need to snake cables round to the back.

You only need one front usb3 port for the actual rift headset. Touch sensor and camera can be plugged in at the rear.

I'm considering buying this bay. Do we know how long the hdmi cable is with this bay?

"The two quick charge USB ports to keep your virtual reality headset ready to go."

What's that about?

There's two high-current USB ports on the front for charging things. I guess he means that if you have a USB rechargeable headset then they are good for this. Not aware of any like that though.

Still useful, You can plug a lot of things off the back (tracking stations, wireless controller). Front panel should pretty much be for the headset itself, which requires one USB3(?). The more the better, however I don't know how the power would be distributed with say, 4 USB inputs. 2x USB3 + HDMI would be what I'd go for. SD card reader.... meh. I'm guessing I can wait for a dedicated VR panel to show up. And since I busted my USB3 header on my motherboard, I'll need a PCIE card.
