Hi All.

I have recently had my watercooled cpu cooler break down and pour gel all over the system which i have now put in a nice new coolermaster V8 in the box but one problem i still seem to suffer with is the box gets ever so hot,

There are a few drives in it and am running a gtx 780 and when im gaming it feels like i have a radiator in the corner for a pc.

whats the best way to get the heat out of the box and cool things down.

i dont want to go down the watercooled road again so wondered what other things there are out there that will help,

Admittedly i have taken a rattly old fan out of the box that was driving me nuts but ever since i have had this 780 i have always had heat issues.

suggestions will be appreciated,

its a thermaltake case fyi.

Many Thanks

Had a Thermaltekc Armour case so very simalar if you can mod the side panel and add some fans. Also taking the front doors of mite help more air flow.

When was the last time you cleaned all the fans ?

The amount of heat generated by your PC isn't going to change while it has the same components in it.

Getting better airflow through your case will improve the heat dissipation to atmosphere, and will cause your ambient room temperature to rise more evenly (eg. rather than having a "radiator" in the corner, the whole room will just feel hotter).
