Get the price down on these builds?

I want to upgrade my PC but I don't really have a budget. I'm trying to work out the costs for 4 builds - less expensive AMD and Intel, more expensive AMD and Intel. Once I've priced them up I'll work out which one presents the best value (based on the CPU reviews) but I'm hoping you guys can shave a few quid off them first:

Can anyone see a way to get the cost down for motherboards, RAM and Storage?

At the moment the 3700x build is winning as I am not sure the extra £320 for the 9900K build presents good value for me considering it isn't that much faster. The 9700K might well be £80 faster though but I feel it is less future proof...

All I use my PC for is gaming and web browsing
I need 16GB RAM. I think 3200 for the cheapo end and 3600 is what I want for the more expensive builds
I need 2x M.2 slots; one at PCI x4 (Gen 3 is fine), one at SATA speeds. Also a PCI-E x4 for my network card.
I want 1TB of fast storage and 250 to 500 of slower storage but both must be M.2

Any price savings to be had??

9900K is definitely overpriced for lack of more than enough cores to last long time.
Could as well get 12 cores if paying that much.
9700K again is short on threads.

Anyway at least for above 3700X CPUs, for which Wraith Prism is pretty darn good for bundled, it would be better to get good cooler.
Also Asrock Pro4 VRM really isn't good for higher end Intels:

But why two SSDs?
SSDs don't suffer from seek times of mechanical drives, so it doesn't matter if OS partition is on same drive with partition for other stuff.

The 9900k is way overpriced, the 3900x is prob overkill, the 9700k is a cut down chip leaving the 3700x which will do everything you need at the same sort of speed as a 9900k while costing a lot less than it or the much more ridicules 3900x.

Go with the 3900x Build and X570.

AMD are doing a great job of retaining the AM4+ socket and its likely to continue that way. So the Motherboard will easily outlast any intel equivalent. You then have an upgrade option in future for the 3950X 12 core without having to change anything.

Or spend a little more on a higher spec X570mobo along with the 3700x and again still have multiple upgrade options. As the higher spec motherboards will be needed for the 3950X if you decide to go down the overclocking route
