Geting back up to speed.

Hi all.

I have a few questions and hope someone can point me in the correct diretion.

I haven't built a setup in a few years and i am massively out of the loop. does anyone have any links to some good reading that i could look up to get back up to speed with.

im looking to build another watercooled pc. I've included the spec for my last build bellow.

q9550 @2.83, Asus P5q-E,
4G.b.skill DDR2,
4870 powercolor, 512Mb DDR5

Any hep would be massively appreciated.

Probably about £900,
i can hopefully reuse some of my rads etc.

I am a 3d modeler by trade, but i can render of a gaming GPU. so lets call it a semi advanced gaming rig.

im just trying to familiarize myself with all the new processors and ram options.
