Gettin sound from xbox 360 using component?

Either use the standard red and white RCA cables that come with the component cable (2 ch stereo) or buy an optical TOSlink cable and plug it in at the back of the AV cable adapter and hook it up to your AV gear (this gives you proper 5.1).

Sorry, I was being a complete noob. Forgot the end of the SCART input comes off so I can put the red/white audio wires in separately.
