Impossible I say!

The I/O console is useless, optical on it doesn't support 5.1 only 2.1. My speaker amp does not have 3 3.5mm jacks so can'y use aux.

Is there any other way, does coaxial digital support 5.1?

I am using the Xfi Elite Pro. So have the console, but that infra red optical only out put's 2.1.

5.1 is a must I'm afraid chaps :(

infra red optical???

Not sure if this helps but does your console look like this?

Nope, don't have that tab :(

Sorry, not sure about all this sound stuff so I may sound slightly stupid sometimes lol.

My amp is dispersing the sound through all speakers, just not true 5.1, so not really surround sound at all really.

Must be a simple and affective way. The back of my console looks like this:

I am currently using the 1st optical input for my 360, and on the front is a 3.5mm jack on which I have plugged my pc into. Now, I have no idea which inputs on the back aside from optical (which doesn't do 5.1 from the console... stupid xfi) supports 5.1 and have no idea how to get 5.1 from my soundcard to the amp in the simplest way.

Any ideas?

EDIT: This is the driver I have installed.... June 09 driver.

EDIT 2: The tab is only available in vista or win 7.... BAH!

Just going to get a studio pc card me thinks.
