Right, ive got my GPU only watercooling set up :
pump: mcp655
Rad: PA120.3 + 3 akasa viper fans
1/2" tubing
koolance Waterblock

i run 3 screens so im always using the CCC shortcuts to switch between 1 or eyefinity aswell as clock speeds.
so like most people i wanna get the most out of my gpu,

If i flash to msi or asus BIOS then would i be able to have a mega over clock with 1.5v abilities?
is there anyway to do this as well as be able to use the CCC hotkeys?

i can kind of do it atm but limited to 1.35v and have to use afterburner and CCC seperatley.. and those 2 programs kinda hate eachother!!

in short, i want to use CCC hotkeys, 1.5v, and overclocking.

any ideas? ive hear of editing the bios registry to put in 1.5v or something but that means a constant high voltage with would suck power 24/7

id be interested in finding out a way to increase voltage to 1.5 as i think the 1.35v limit with asus 5870 v2 is a bit conservative when watercooled.
ive managed to run mine stable at 1040mhz core with 1.35v and max temp 40

with an asus bios you can use the smart doctor tool to get 1.5v, then afterburner to crank up the clocks, or depending on the version of ccc u can simply use that to get up to 1200 i believe

Let us know how you get on. I couldn;t get better than 1100 even with 1.5v on my card. 930 was the max I got to with 1.35v so the extra voltage did nothing.

The card was waer cooled as well. I found that although watercooled, my overclock would fail once it hit 41/42c so adding extra voltage was detrimental to acheiving a better overclock as it added more heat.

1.5v of more would be useful with LN2/DICE as it would keep the chip cool enough but on water, 1.5v did nothign for me.
