Treating myself on friday, finally think ive settled on a 70d, although they are a tad expensive and so i was thinking grey import. Ive heard good things about dig rev or portus as well as them honoring warranty. I just wanted to hear from others if they've used them and what they thought of them. Also wondering whether to ditch the kit lens, buy lenseless and get a decent lens and if so, whats a really good lens to start off with.

if i was to just get the body to make t cheaper what cheapish lens could i get to make it roughly the same price, or should i just get the kit lens

well thats my point i know theyre good, but theyre not that good, and i can save a good 120 usually if i just get the body then if i was to get a decent lens for 120, but with a bit of research ive found this method dosent really exist. I used to have a 650d and it came with the 18-55 and it was pants

right, used flubit, put in a rainforest link that involved the kit lens £849 its given me a 13% discount so itsnow £740 ish, wow is all i can say, anyone had a positive experience with them ? also the merchant is hangsun uk, never heard of them, its not another grey import is it, their actual website upon research is a lot cheaper than dig rev, so im assuming no cashback fron canon, id rather buy a proper uk one, its just so hard as i need it delivering before xmas, prefably tomorrow as we have a few important family events, any input in the next hour would be amazingly appreciated, based on that, is going to be the outcome, fingers on the trigger.

Oh I know that, just been to the curry shop and it was closed :( looks like I'm gonna have to spend 900 in the morning, it's only an 140 quid saving and the warranty seems shady at least it will be a UK warranty.
