Getting a BSOD caused by the iaStor driver

Hi,

I've had this computer for almost 5 years, it's a Dell Vostro 430 with i7 and generic Dell motherboard, but for the most part it's been great and hasn't caused any problems.

However, I've just had two BSODs with the error code 00000019 saying that the problem was caused by the iaStor driver.

CrystalDiskInfo says that one of my hard drives (just a storage drive) has a health status of 'Caution' but doesn't give any more information other than 'C5 current pending sector count: 2' which reading around isn't a sure sign of failure (though I am being extra careful to back up) and during the BSODs I am pretty sure this drive was not in use.

The iaStor driver error has also prompted me to check the drivers for that, however there are so many different drivers that come up with the iaStor search that I don't know where to start, I've ran the Intel Driver Update Utility but there was nothing particularly relevant that came up or anything that needed updating.
Is there anything else I can try please? I'm running chkdisk now on the disk with the errors but it hasn't found any problems so far.

Thanks!

Also, I'm guessing it's related is that the computer is slow as hell now... like, awfully, unbearably slow and is failing to load programs (Disk Management took around 15 minutes before it appeared)

Any ideas please or is a new computer looking like a good option right now? :)

Thanks

I've just restarted the machine for about the 5th time, and magically now it seems to be running okay - though the drive with the 'Caution' flag wasn't actually listed under my computer, and it's just re-installed the drivers for it... it feels slightly slow (the hard drive is doing something now, maybe defragging or something...?!) but the computer is perfectly usable at least... progress! :)
