getting a few problems with gaming with Vista

Well everything was ok, but now oblivion only works for a while, before it says its encountered an error and needs to close, then i load back up and my save games are corrupt, BF2 occaionally just closes down back to desktop for no reason, and now playing Company of Heroes, i was about half an hour into a skirmish when i click on a soldier, and i get the annoying popup saying its stopped working.

Is this Vista doing this? i have the latest drivers. Or could it be something else?

Im having problems with 2142. I can play 2 rounds of titan then new map loads and im CTD with APPCRASH or Memory.dll error.

Ive seen this mentioned all over other forums, but after trying loads of things nobody has got a definate fix yet :(
