Getting a large amount of cash out.

I've taken out 10k before without any notice - Nationwide.

Wierd - I went to nationwide the other day and they told me their policy was £500 max?

I know halifax wont give you more than £1200 over the counter unless you "order" it in advance.

Write them a letter and tell them that from now unless you receive an "order" to deposit your salary them cant get it!!!

Anything over £900 cash taken out from my local branches here in Norn Iron and I get asked what it's for It is the Northern Bank though, to be fair.

GO Ulsterbank! I took out £2600 last year to pay for a bike, and I never got asked any questions, just for ID - didn't have to inform the bank prior to taking it out either
