I need a new printer, my last one was a Canon i450 and it was great. However the heads completely gone and all my attempts to revive it are in vain.

I'm thinking of the Canon PIXMA iP4300.
I'll be using it for work (uni reports, and CAD drawings) as well as photo printing.

Anyone recommend it??

Talking to a canon rep at work, highly recomends it great value for money if you don't need all the extra features of the higher models.

although probly not the most impartial opinion

When the printers open,;
At the front, pull the piece of plastic which has 'Canon' written on it down and slide it in.

Out of interest, how much is the ink for the iP4300 - nowhere near as much as the iP4200, I hope! :eek:

Ive got an Ip4000 and I love it. Ive also purchased a IX4000 at work and again I love it. So I have a lot of confidence in Canon printers.

Agreed. Had my IP4000 for a while now, and its the best printer I have ever used. I used to sell printers and have used most models Epson, HP, Lexmark...
