Getting a new psu

Looking at a RM750X but the fan size is 135mm.

The fan underneath my tower is only 120mm. Will it be ok ?

Yes, that'll be fine, as long as it's ATX (so it'll mount properly in the case).

Thanks, yeah it's a full atx. I intend on having the fan downwards as my current setup has excellent temps as is

Thats the way it should be but be careful if your pc is sittng on carpet, make sure theres enpugh gap underneath for good airflow.

Yea I have some tower stands coming soon which will elevate the pc off the carpet

The airflow wont be restricted at all will it ? The specs for my case say 120mm but the rm750x is 135mm.

As long as it definitely wont restrict the air flow I'll buy it

Absbolutely no problem, the 120mm fan limit only applies to where the fan will fit near the bottom front anyhow (mounting points) your PSU with a 135mm fan will have no problem whatsover, the cut outs below the PSU are more than enough.

PSUs have a standard width, height and screw placement. In general any ATX power supply will fit any ATX case (although some smaller cases won’t take really long PSUs). Don’t worry at all about the size of fan inside.
