Getting a PS3 - Any price drop soon or re-design?

Hi everyone,

I'm getting a PS3 before September 28th for Fifa 13 (amongst other games on my to play list) and I'm currently looking at the red PS3 320GB that comes with two pads.

Only question is does anyone think they'll actually redesign it soon and when will it have a price cut?

The redesign isn't important to me but don't want to buy the PS3 just yet (thinking tomorrow or day after :D) if there's a price drop soon.
 
Yes there's meant to be a super-slim coming out. There's a thread on here somewhere. About 3 weeks ago at a guess. I think it was meant to be 500gb for less than they cost now
 
Wouldn't bank on there being a redesign, there some mock ups that may or may not have been real floating about but nothing else. Carpe diem!
 
There's supposed to be a redesign, but nobody knows when. There are images of it floating on the net. My best bet is just before Christmas.
 
I bought the red PS3 slim not to long ago. It looks great ! loving the matt red finish. I deffo prefer it over the shiny black.
