Can't seem to find anywhere to search for such a plate, but I wondered what the possibility of finding a reg in the form of XYZ123D.

With it being that old, it'll be highly unlikely that it's still on a car, but are they available for sale?

You can't get them from the DVLA, but some of the other companies still do suffix-style plates.

Speaking of registration plates does anyone know where you can get plates in the form:

"1 ABC"

Look again theres plenty of plates on there in that format, theres no special place to buy a certain type of plate, theres just places that sell private plates.

However I put it, it's phrased badly. I meant not currently attached to a car. And just found this on the DVLA site, doesn't look like I will be able to get it

Is it possible to buy a registration that used to be on a vehicle before, even if the vehicle no longer exists?
