getting a wow 10day trial

Hey im getting a 10day trial code from my friend whos just bought wow, anyways....ive played quite a few mmorpgs like lineage2 etc (and guild wars..dont argue about it been mmorpg)...but what is wow exacly like?

Do you have two sides who fight against each other? is there any pvp, whats it like? what races are there etc....

bascially just help a noob out here

A bucketload of threads here which higlight some of the aspects, otherwise get in there, start playing, and discover it for yourself!

aye i am reading through all the threads/site...

but i dont want to read through like 100pages to find what i want lol, also i want it from current user's point of view.

im currently reading about the race's/class's...can you tell me what you guys like about them and whats the best to use and why etc.

do you have to be a hunter to get a pet?

Hunters get pets and hunters are also stupid easy mode cos u have ranged and use your pet to tank. That basically sums them up

Warlocks get a summoned minion, they get different types as they progress in level, and have some good damage over time spells.

Warriors are just that. You hit things a lot and they're boring

Mages are the master spellcasters, do a hell of a a lot of damage but tend to be quite weak.
