getting an Elite.

Howdy doody,

I am thinking of getting a 360 Elite however after reading about all the problems that people have been having with the 360 in general i am wondering whether this newer unit is going to be plagued with the same problems?

I am aware that some people have had 360 since launch without problem but in general its comes across as a very unreliable machine.

Any advice when buying one?

Have an elite, definitely runs cooler than the earlier 360 versions.

My model has the new cooling system and yes that ing place still offer replacement policy for the first 12 months, so don't worry - be happy.

Is there anyway of checking for the newer cooling system before you get it home and unpack it? Or is it a case that all elites are fitted with it?

Extra black wireless controller
wifi adapter
Assassins Creed


Anything else?

For games that come out on the PC as well I wont be getting on the 360 purely because PC games are a hell of a lot cheaper (not unless they are better on the 360 or have a longer waiting time for release)

well ive spent the day googling for deals and the best one ive found so far:

Xbox 360 Elite

Black play and charge kit
Halo 3
PGR4
PES 2008

free delivery and 10% discount

= £386.10

Other than PGR3 im not overly fussed about the other 3 games but its one of the best deals i can find. Just a matter of finding Assassins Creed as cheap as poss and looking around for some decent 2nd hand games.
