Well, after a month or so of no Xbox what so ever ive finally finished the years coursework and exams for uni and now having a bit of xbox time.

Ive had GRAW sittin near me all this time, and to be honest, i thought it would be up to much. But wow, the single player experience is brilliant. Really enjoying the fluidity and overall quality of the settings.

Just ordered the proper World Cup game too, because Pro Evo isnt out for ages and i need to play Fifa during the actual WC. Seen mixed opinions on the title, but some more here would be appreciated.

I will be back on XBL at the beginning of July hopefully, and weather permitting [its raining] will be getting involved again, so i want more PGR3 nights and GRAW action.

Krono, I got your back!

Fifa is ace, comparing it to Pro Evo 4, it is ideal to pick up and play with mates as anyone can do it after 5 minutes.

Very nice game.

Fifa is comparable to Pro Evo 4? You're having a laugh aren't you? :p

Nope I am not, until Sensible Soccer comes out for a quick pick up and play game it wins hands down, much easier for you to do spectacular bits on it than Pro Evo, and its not a bad game on your own either.

2006 FIFA World Cup is an OK buy for £30, but there's no way I'd pay full price. It'll do you fine for the World Cup and some multiplayer action, but it's not a game with much longevity in single player.

im still playing fifa RTWC, as i think the GFX are better, i might sell it and get the new WC one, how long away is the new FIFA

the problem is RTWC was although rushed on the 360, its a good GFX game, whereas the WC has been ported and bumped up a bit, so im expecting the club edition to be just the same, sigh

Bah, gimme Pro Evo 5 on the 360 any day :)

I prefer a bit more of an arcade blast than a simulation type footie game, Fifa all the way!

My football games list:

Megadrive:
Football Italia 1990 (ACE!)
Fifa 96
Fifa 97
Fifa 98 WCE
International Super Star Soccer Deluxe

PS1:
Three Lions
Fifa 2000
Pro Evo

PC:
Pro Evo 4

Xbox 360:
Fifa 2006 world cup.

Out of them Fifa on the 360 is rated as my third favourite, and by far my favourite 3D one. It just feels right to me when your playing mulitplayer. The AI is a little poor if im being generous, stupid if im being honest. The commentators are no better on the game than they were on the PS1 so little dissapointed with that.

It is good fun though, and what I wanted from it, for £30 if your playing with others you can hardly go wrong!

Each to there own, for a 10 minute each way blast with friends who have never played it before, its so easy to pick up and play! What I got it for, the single player is boring, but I think that about most footie games.
