Hi Guys:

I used to Bodybuild started at 16 and for a while worked at the gym (a proper gym owned by pro bodybuilders ;) ). When I went to uni I kept training and and did kickboxing. I was doing 4-8 hours of KB which was pretty intense for the best part of 3 years. I changed my gym training a bit to keep my weight down to around 12.5 stone and build up stamina rather than size.

Fast forward to now (age 26) - Due to a trapped nerve in my neck which I sustained in 2002 my training subsided. I stopped KB and was unable to cycle or train in the gym properly....Beginning of 2005 I had recovered well and began training, in 4 months I was getting back to where I wanted to be, weighed in at just under 14 stone. Then someone drove into the back of me hard (April 1st 2005 "typical") and my neck problems re-surfaced. Follwing some intense (expensive) osteopathic treatment this year, I am just about in the position to get down the gym again. But here lies the problem.

My job changed and I am now sat at a desk all day. I have managed to go up to 16 1/2 stone and although I hold it reasonably well considering what some people look like at this weight (5 11" height), i am neither strong nor in good shape. In gym clothes i look like carp and am actually finding it difficult to face the gym in anything other than the baggiest of clothes. The main thing is getting the motivation to train and go through the muscle ache and re-discovering the mental toughness which kept me going.

Whats the best way to go about this so:

A) I loose fat quickly (biggest problem is I have got into bad habbits and diet so I need to supress my appetite)
B) I don't want to injur myself so what would be the best approach to weights and cv
C) I need to look better for the summer
D) I want to wear T-Shirts and feel confident.

I build muscle pretty quickly and once I get going I know I can turn it arround in a few months and within a year look pretty good. Also where is a good online place to get supplements from as I don't have time to shop in the highstreet when they are open.

I would really appreciate some help on this.

Set yourself small targets, weekly goals, etc. Like lose 2 pounds a week. What weight range do you want to be in? :)

Beefcake tbh.....Seriously though I just want to be lean, If i could be that at 14 stone or 16 stone I would be happy. I am not worried about weight as much as what I look like in the mirror.
