Getting back into PC building game

Wow, just looked at modular PSUs and they look really handy. I hate cable clutter as it is. I might look into that but I don't want to overstretch my budget.

Also, this may be a stupid question, but what cables should I be getting? I presume I don't get much with it so I was going to add a couple of SATA3 cables and a couple of DVI cables for the monitors. I've already got loads of kettle leads but the last time I built a PC it was all IDE so my old cables aren't going to help me :)

Oh, and, do I need to get thermal paste for the CPU?

I just want to make sure I'm not forgetting something because knowing my luck I'll have forgetting the most basic of things when I come to build it :)

You get sata cables with the mobo and the intel cooler will have paste pre-applied. Not the best stuff, but it'll do until you stick a different cooler on there. If you can add another £8 or so, grab some Arctic MX-4 or something.

Not sure what accessories come with the gpu.
The monitor comes with a VGA cable.

Not a bad case for price. Nice looking, though I don't like the unfinished look of the top grill.
I'll put another spammy recommendation for the Xigmatek Midgard II at the £50 price point :)

Either would be perfectly fine.
