Getting back on my PS2

So i thought it's about time to relive my childhood games again.
Anyone remember any amazing PS2 games?
Any that you would recommend me to try out?

I'm starting either hack. infection or digital devil saga tonight

Timesplitters future perfect
Tourist trophy
Dragon ball Z budokai tenkaichi 3

Thats about all I can think off right now I'm sure you'll get plenty of suggestions though

Best games of the generation. Yellow = epic.

Shadows of the colossus sounds very tempting.
I have the HD version on PS3 though.
And FFX is a must

Definitely need to replay the MGS as well, i do agree... epic.

If you're going for games you have never played then God Hand & Champions of Norrath are IMO must haves for the system.

I've heard of God hand but can't say I've seen much about it.

It's pretty brutal on difficulty but the gameplay is fantastic and the story is absolute cheese, but it's charismatic to say the least.

You should look into Champions of Norrath first though! So few people have played that game, and it's the best action RPG ever made imo.

SSX games are always fun, I went on an exchange trip a few years ago and they still had a PS2, we played multi player for a bit and it was loads of fun, really broke the ice (not related to a snowboarding game at all

).

Burnout 3 was great also, I recommend that.

Jak and Ratchet and Clank games, some of my favorites, slightly prefer Ratchet due to the curaazzy weapons which where a blast to use.

Shadow of the Colossus is a must!

Metal Gear Solid 2-3, I personally prefer 3 but they are both great games!

Bully, and any of the GTA games.

Pyschonauts, but also available on the PC.

Devil May Cry 3

Price of Persia: Sands of Time

Okami

Persona 4

Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts (I didn't acctually play these!

Tourist Trophy is a well underated game.

Also the God of Wars, but you may have them on the PS3?

Tony hawk Pro Skater 3 and GTA3 are probably the two games that got the most gametime off me.

Oh i used to play Hardware: Online Area allllll the time too, but i suspect the servers are long gone

Omaeka and Winky covered most of what I was going to suggest

others I can think of off the top of my head that aren't on the PS3 though are any of the Shin Megami Tensei titles like Lucifer's Call, Digital Devil Saga, and Devil Summoner (would probably throw in Persona 3 as well since Winky already mentioned 4, play the FES re-release if you do). Some others that come to mind are Shadow Hearts, Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicle, Tales of the Abyss, Xenosaga, Ratchet and Clank, Rogue Galaxy, Suikoden III, Yakuza, Dragon Quest VIII, and Disgaea 1 and 2. But I know there are others I'm forgetting and it's really bugging me...

I do this sometimes ans it is suprising how quickly you get bored with the outdated graphics and old gameplay. Therefore I recommend games that give you an experience you can't get with modern games. And don't have a sequel.
