Getting bored of chasing numbers

Many people underestimate the performance requirements of 1440p & 144hz, as well as overestimate the positive impact of 1440p (but then I suppose that's always gonna be subjective). Imo your monitor upgrade was a big mistake because it will have increased your performance requirements MANY times over, and it being Freesync means you're tied to AMD, and AMD doesn't have very beefy single-cards - so the only solution is CF. Secondly, AMD has issues with weak CPUs and the 8370 certainly is a weak CPU for 144hz, so in this case you have a double-dipping weakness.

Solutions? Nothing that won't cost you more. Imo if you don't want a mortgage for your PC, find a Viewsonic XG2401, keep the Fury, and enjoy life. When you can, upgrade to an i7 6700k and OC it. That's all you need.

OP you have no business running MSAA at 1440p if you want to maintain 60 fps minimum with a Fury and an AMD CPU. Even high end Nvidia cards will struggle to stay above 60 with MSAA in some modern games at this resolution.

Stop using MSAA. It's great but it kills frames. Just use very high/ultra for all the normal graphical settings and use FXAA for anti-aliasing.
