Getting bored with my GTR

May I suggest a Lotus?
Elise's, Exiges, and Espirits can be picked up around that price and are brilliant drivers cars

You need something with more power than grip, with a balanced chassis which is easily exploitable, or fun to master.

What about an RX7?

It might feel a bit tame after a 500 brake Skyline but an E36 M3 will give you plenty of spare change to... make it even more interesting.

Why don't you get a project to keep you interested? Buying some else's high powered car can't be nearly as much fun as doing the work yourself.

If he's bored of a 500bhp GTR he'll cry himself to sleep over an e36 m3. zZzz

EDIT:

Buy:

1x mk1 MX5 (£2k)
1x LS1 V8
1x Fitting kit + ancillaries
= FUN

Here is one racing an F430. You can't get bored of that. SURELY?

Monarao, slightly more expensive though!

I do like the look of them but way over my budget at the moment unfortunately.

Twin turbo Supra tuned to several hundred BHP? It won't be boring trying to keep that on the road ;)

Supras have grown on me but still umming and arring.

As much as i love Rex's i could never afford to run one it would cost more than the GTR!

LOL thats a bit mental.

A project like that is a great idea though. Probably wouldnt be an MX5 though as its a bit small for me.

Perhaps you need to take a step back and go for a car that has similar performance but goes about it in a differant way

something like a TVR perhaps, one of the earlier V8 cars, you might need to spend more than 7k though

or Maybe even a Elise, although i'd say 10 to 12k might be the order there and it wont be as fast, maybe you need something that feels more connected to the road and more raw, over a high BHP figure, might be worth a look

7K ?

You can get a Supra TT with that, probabaly not a decent one though
or you could get an EVO 6 or maybe an EVO 7

i suggest these two, becuase i was looking into one recently amd was seeing how much one of these goes for

RX-7 wth a single Turbo?

Wouldn't an MX5 with a huge V8 in the front handle like ass?

Not really, the LS series are small and fairly light V8's.

Remember someone saying the weight distribution difference was around 5%.

Most probably noticeable, but not enough to have a significant effect on the handling afaik.
