I want to lower temperatures on my 2600k oc to 4.7ghz.

idle temp - 32 deg
full load - 68 deg

I have a Cooler Master CM-690 II Dominator Case which has 4 fans 1 on left, 1 at top and 1 at rear, 1 at front. For cpu cooling i have a antec 620 cooler.

I am thinking of installing more fans in case or maybe upgrading my cpu cooler. Any advice would be appreciated.

not sure if you could get them any lower without going a custom watercooling setup

if i had a 2600k @ 4.7ghz with them temps i would be jumping for joy :P arnt them chips pretty hot anyway?

yeah im hitting 71c with noctua d14 @4.5ghz,probably could improve if i spent time on it but not by much

only have two case fans aswell

Look like its pretty cool anyways, are your full load temps under stress testing or gaming?

Those temps are pretty nice really.. unless your case fans are all stock I doubt you'll get any lower with air cooling. Water cooling would be a lot cooler but is a bit tricky.

As everyone else has said, they look fine and dandy.

Although I think we all miss winter a bit having that few degrees cooler, unless the heating is on full blast.

Your over analysing it! Your temps are good for the equipment you are using.

Yup, to put it into perspective I was getting around 72c stress temps on an H80 with the OC in my sig. IMO adding more fans could disrupt airflow and if anything increase temps :)

Very true! Im cooling my 2600k with a Noctua D14 housed in a Bitfenix Colossus case and getting similar temps has the Op.

Put another fan on your 620 for push, pull, but really those temps are excellent.
If you want to upgrade your cooler then the Antec kuhler 920 is really good, but only because i've got one lol.

No point upgrading the cooler to anything but a custom loop with more radiator space. The closed systems only have 120mm radiators apart from the H100 which is overpriced imo.

If you really want lower temps, get something like the V8 kit from OcUK. It WILL cost you though to get lower temps as no combination of fans or tinkering will lower your temps more than 1C without going down a custom loop route.
