Getting design ideas for my house?

I have just bought a house and plan to extened the kitchen and back lounge. I am just wondering if anyone knows of a site maybe or something else for getting good design ideas for all the rooms including the bedrooms etc?

Anything better than google images?

Have you tried some design magazines?

Also, have you had a play with Google Sketchup? You may be able to mock up your ideas to get a better idea of what it will all look like together.

pintrest is usually a good place to start looking for ideas but it's difficult unless you have some idea what you are looking for

Post decent photos of said house including mocking up a top down layout in PS or similar and post it up.

I bet people can get creative on here
