Getting extra mouse button to work in firefox.

Hi,

I have recently just bought a Logitech LX3 mouse for my pc. Now in the logitech software I set it up so the side scroll buttons are forwards and backwards. Now this works in everything (explorer and IE) but doesn't work for firefox. Does anyone know what I need to do?
