Getting into BIOS-Problems

All of a sudden on one of my older systems I cannot enter BIOS. Pushing DEL during boot no longer seems to work.

Is there a "Universal" utility similar to Asrock "Restart to UEFI" that can be used on older systems?

Or do I just have to keep trying mashing different keys and hope I get somewhere?

You tried removing the cmos battery, leaving it out for 10 minutes, putting it in and restarting?

Are you using a usb keyboard? If so try using a ps2 jobbie.
