So a few years back used to do quite a bit of range shooting, it was fun-ish but never really got into it. Surprisingly never tried clays back then.

Today went on a taster day for sporting clay shooting and loved every moment of it and would like to learn more and if its a hobby I could get into.

In the west mids, my thoughts are to go back to where I had this day, but its a bit of a drive out, and would just like to know if there is somewhere that should considered otherwise more locally.

Any other advice welcomed :)

Take a look at the CPSA site for affiliated clubs, there’s loads. Also plenty non affiliated clubs, way more than people realise. It’s a sport that flies under the radar generally, but when you get into it you find out how big it actually is.

Near me for example there’s 4 or 5 commercial/member clubs, along with a handful of invite only shoots basically where there’s a few traps set up on friendly farmer’s land on a weekend.

If you have any specific questions just ask.
