This may be an odd one but it is something that's annoying me atm...

Basically I'm at college in my final year (year 13) and I have left most of my friends behind at secondary school. The college I'm at is a real dive with a lot of ***** about! They have no clue! They don't want to learn, they are just wasting time before they sign on for job seekers! I have just one friend at college but he lives an hour away so it's difficult to socialize with him when not at college. I also have a couple of very good friends from secondary school I keep in touch with too. I go to college three days a week and work three days a week which just leaves me Sundays to do stuff as my evenings are filled with college work. My work is in sound lighting power installation and hire for large events like the Cambridge Folk Festival and such.

So my problem is I have no time to socialize but I have a bit if money to spend as the job pays well. I also want a girlfriend atm too but with being an electronic student there's no women in any of my lectures.

I want to socialize with cultured people who want to succeed in life, who have standards, who like to eat good food and enjoy the finer things in life who don't just get through the week to get *** swearing should be fully starred out *** out their face on the weekend. The relationships with the girls I have been out with haven't got anywhere due to their interests not getting any more interesting than their journey to the place we met!

So basically I want a middle class social groups, some I might find if I managed to go to Cambridge uni!

Please OcUK what can I do?!!

Talk to the other SAPs in your class... Which college is this? You sound awfully familiar.
Anyways just speak to the socially awkward kids, they are the most interesting imo. They are more likely to be interesting than the extroverted drama queens.

PRC. One of them is unable to answer if you ask him his name another tried to freeze his nipple with deodorant to see if he could flick it off (I have got a pic for proof!)...

...I have torn my hair out for the past one and a half years at this place!
