Getting into Web Design.

Hi guys, was hoping to get into web design and i don't know where to start I want to be able to practice and create a website without paying for hosting/domain names. What can i do? Thanks -Brad.

Are you looking to develop websites (HTML, CSS, jQuery, SQL, PHP/ASP.Net/other), or design them (HTML, CSS, jQuery, Photoshop, Design theory)?

The two are very different.

I want to create a whole website from scratch

In that case google around for tutorials on all the items I put in brackets. For starters, try following this.
