Getting iOS7 onto my iphone :)

Not liking a lot of it so far. Pretty gutted tbh. It seems to be slow on my iPad 3 and 4s. I hate the way programs pop up from the side the icons are at. The icons themselves look like my first smartphone kid style icons. I really really can't understand why on safari on iPad they have moved the favorites bar from the left to the right hand side. I hate there is no search tab either.

As above dont like the favourites list on the right hand side now in safari. Would like to move it back to the left if possible.

Some of the other changes are okay but things like the keyboard coming up seem to lag a little bit where they didnt before.

The search is in the address bar.

Downloaded iOS7 really quickly, must have been about 15 minutes, and that was at about 7pm, have been trying to actually install since with no luck :/

And just as i hit submit this post, its started to install!

Taken 15 minutes for it to even tell me how long remaining! :(

Mine said 8 hours OTA so I've downloaded latest iTunes and doing it through there and it now says 47mins.

Got about half way and then had an error! Grrr (that was via OTA)

Now plugged it into my Mac, restarted the process and it is hovering around the hour mark. Fingers crossed it doesn't fudge up again!

Itunes Attempts:
1- Immediate Network error.
2- Network error after 15 minutes.
3- Claims 48 hours to download so binned that one
4- Fourth time a charm and downloaded in 4 minutes

First off I tried OTA at about 18:50. Apple said they needed 2.9 Gig free, my 4 only has 2.6 Gig free.

So back to the PC.

iTunes insisted on updating, I've been running 10 as I hated the new look and feel, but will just have to give up on that now.

Once iTunes, iCloud were updated the PC insisted on a reboot, then iOS 7 failed to download, said I didn't have permission to download it?????

Came back to the PC about a hour later and this time it decided to play ball. Update is now running, the verification process took ages, guess the servers are a bit busy. Have passed that now, progress bar on the phone is about 25% across the screen and moving v slowly, but the progress bar on iTunes says it has nearly done.

This is a joke, managed to revert my phone to IOS 6.1.3, and can't activate it. Also can't update to IOS7 as the download is telling me it'll take 12 hours through iTunes. Come on Apple, surely a company as big as them can get their **** together?

I wish they'd learn their lesson and just utilise more capacity for major OS / iOS updates.

Every year it's the same. Pretty shocking we have to result to alternate mirrors or direct IP downloads tbh

I've downloaded ios7 to my ipad 2 but daren't install it :o I'll wait a day or 2 but if I decide to not install it, I know it will bug me that it's there with only a tap needed.

Mine downloaded and put the phone into recovery mode, it's downloaded it again, but now can't activate.

I'll pass on the 4S and iPad 4.

iPhone 5 knackered at the moment :)

Broken number one rule of patching in IT lol
