Getting iOS7 onto my iphone :)

Well my phone now looks like a childs tablet computer! Horrible update and I do hope they offer a way back to ios6!

Otherwise goodbye apple and hello android!

Looks awesome in my opinion. To those moaning about how colourful it is, it's largely down to what wallpaper you have set tbh.

Running well on my iP5, might hold back on the iPad 2 for a couple of days though.

Works pretty well on the iPad 2, obviously not as smooth as the iPhone 5 but not bad at all (iPad mini should be the same).

I really like it. Once they get rid of the keyboard lag it will be even better.

Oh. And devs need to update their apps. Pre-iOS 7 apps now look very out of place.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the Genius Playlists in the Music app? I have 5 and I can't delete any of them! If I press on Save, it just crashes the Music app...

Anyone who has trouble starting update after download, if validation fails just turn off wifi for validation and let it send checksums via 3G. Not much data needs to be transferred and the servers don't put a temporary block on operator IPs.

IOS7 looks half finished. Grey bits, the one on the bottom with four default icons and the space for grouped apps simply asks to be semi transparent. Everything is gigantormous. Fonts are MASSIVE and random sizes everywhere. Incoherent settings setup. Too many blinding white backgrounds in many places. Fisher price flat icons. Definitely step back, more arts and crafts in primary school, less of the 3D OSX look we cherished and everyone imitated for years. And I will have to somehow get used to it, because we finally have quick toggle.

Gave up after an hour of trying over itunes with my 5, iPad seemed to be working over wifi at first and then that went pear shaped.

Oh well, I'll try in a few days when it's quieter, although that iPad grief ^^ up there doesn't fill me with confidence! :/

Pretty much sums up my feelings at the minute I'm sure I'll get used to it but it feels so half finished and the bright white/grey bits everywhere are hurting my eyes. The animations feel very android and don't do anything except slow down app loading and the like! Still at least I can finally put the newsstand in a folder even if I can't delete it! If seine would fix the alarm clock section so I don't pointlessly have to press edit everytime I want to change it then my two biggest day to day problems with the old ios would at least be gone in exchange for the kiddy phone feel!

I must be really lucky. Did an OTA update late last night. The update downloaded in about 10/15 minutes and the whole update was done in an hour or so.

In ios7 now and it looks amazing !

They're semi-transparent on my iPhone4, like frosted glass. Maybe you need a better background?

Well, some things are taking a little getting used to ('quitting' apps requires a different process now) and the icons are butt-ugly but other than that it's ok.

The biggest single step forward is Control Centre.

E: Having just said that, I've seen the new 'tabs' feature in Safari. It's horrible!

Tried all night and it just kept failing. Tried after a restart when the download seemed to have frozen at about midnight and it took 15 minutes lol.

Have to say, the screenshots didn't impress me, but now I'm using it, I like it. Looks great on the retina display of the iPad.

Oddly, the modern revamp makes the hardware seem dated.

i think it looks great.

no problems here with update or look.

makes a nice change, i feel like i have a new phone.

Lots of complaints online so maybe Apple will offer an update to go back to 6.

There's lots of complaints about everything online.

There is not a cat in hells chance they will offer iOS6 anymore. You can expect 7.1/2/3/4 whatever to try and fix any actual issues (not look and feel) but never a backtrack.

More to the point, people just need to get used to it.. it sort of depresses me a little bit that so many people are so resistant to what is basically a cosmetic change, especially from something as stale as iOS6.
