Getting iOS7 onto my iphone :)

Honestly it's not like that at all.

I said at the time the first previews of iOS7 came out that I hoped they were just work-in-progress icons and something better would be developed before the release.

Just do a google image search for 'ios7 redesign' and see the hundreds of better designed interfaces that concerned designers have produced in response.

I do like most of the new functionality but the new safari is a bit of a mess.

I'm not one of those 'resistant to change' types but equally I'm not going to accept change for the sake of it or change that's poorly implemented.

For instance, I've got the ugly grey boxes like some other people on here, I've changed the picture a number of times and it's just as bad (light, dark and multi-coloured). I've even re-started the phone and it's not made a difference.
 
Mine apparently downloaded throughout the night and I installed it in the morning. I like a few features such as the background wallpaper, the swipe left/right in safari.

The notes app shouldn't have been changed and there's far too much white for my liking. The animations are tiresome to say the least, but it seems fast and fluid on my 4s. I'm sure they'll improve in the next version of the OS.
 
I really like it but feel there is just to much white.

Lots of the apps feel a lot more intergraded and smooth. eBay Facebook etc.
 
Is there a way to view the calendar but the month view and click on specific days without it jumping into day view?

On ios6 you tap a day and it shows the event at the bottom of the screen (same as other ios versions, sony ericsson and even my old nokia phones)

I can appreciate not everyone will be happy. But to please 100% of people all the time is practically impossible.

The 'grey box' problem...I can see why that would nark you but for some reason i haven't got that. And i can't replicate your problem either.

I also use Chrome not Safari (never liked it).

All about personal opinion i guess.

Press the month in the top left corner. IE September :)

Yeah I have the same problem and its damn annoying. Tried everything, resetting to factory, resetting network settings, etc and nothing works.
 
Eats battery on 4S like mad. I hope this is just "snitches" and indexing working in a background after update.
 
I like the new wake/sleep animation. Battery life is poor on the 4s I will agree with that. There's some settings that should be turned off like update apps in the background. I'm guessing that's always working while connected to wifi.

What about the keyboard. Nothing was added and still doesn't do long press numerics but now it's HALF SCREEN BIG!.
