Getting iOS7 onto my iphone :)

Did you download from apple or from a website? Might be something to do with the original person who got it from apple? (not a clue in other words)

what exactly did you expect? the internet is currently running at over double usage globally. the entire internet.

if you wanted a fast download and fully functioning device then do not update in the first 12 hours. the exact same thing happened for ios6..

Straight from apple, very weird. I'm gonna let it settle down until tomorrow then restore to a fresh phone instead of a backup. Not a clue what's happening either.

I expected Apple to maybe upgrade their activation server, it's not like this is the first time this has happened. I was absolutely expecting this, was just sick of the Beta 6 and the bugs that went with it.

Does it annoy you that I'm annoyed at Apple? That's some strange feelings there.

you want apples servers to be able to cope with twice the entire internets bandwidth? yeah, good luck with that.

e: a valid argument may be that apple should maybe phase the update based on country. but even UK traffic is stacked out.

well ipad mini updated fine but iphone crashed at the end and now needs full restore but download keeps crashing and saying 10 hours and am left with a blank phone. typical i should have learnt from last time
 
With the change in icons/more neon feel, I now feel like I need to change my wallpaper and lock screen to suit it! :p
 
I will wait for 7.01 and let you guys iron the bugs and slowness out for me :p

I've seen enough people on my FB whinging about key lag since upgrading.
 
Well thats the iPhone 5 and iPad done.

I thought the iPad had frozen as the progress bar didn't move for about 20 minutes so I was just about to reset it when I decided to leave it another couple of minutes - glad I did as it came up with the welcome screen.
 
Im still having issues when I come to delete visual voicemail on my iPhone5. Anyone else having issues where you delete and it seems to freeze and not clear the call away for a few moments and does not allow you to do anything?
 
After mine installed couldn't get it to activate. So had to turn off my phone and when I turned it back on seemed to have activated by itself! Also on iTunes kept bringing up a blank page when restoring, what I had to do was turn off iTunes, switch it back on and then click the x where it says trying to access iTunes store (top middle of iTunes) and then it worked. Need to press it quickly or the message goes away and you're stuck with a blank page on iTunes.
 
My 4 has finally finished the update, still getting over the shock, very different.

Was a bit laggy at first, but it's getting better, almost as if it is learning what it has to play with!

Still hate iTunes 11!
 
I can only imagine how the sys admins at the Apple data centres are feeling right now.

I suspect it's like the moment in Ghostbusters when they turn off the containment grid :D
