Getting iOS7 onto my iphone :)

I never really get why people have to do it right NOW and then moan that it's all so slow.

I'm going to update my 4S on saturday when the servers are nice and clear.

Got my 4S done, getting used to it and quite like it, apart from the look of the music player.

Getting a bit of lag when scrolling and entering text.

Can't find the new tab function in safari and full screen doesn't appear to work on my iPad mini... is that feature iPhone only?

I've tried and it won't download/work.

I couldn't care less to be honest, I'll try it again on Saturday morning. It looks absolutely pants.

It's also completely unacceptable from Apple. I've read some of the comments and cannot believe how many people are having problems. I hope they get seriously bad press over this.

What does everyone think of the new look?

Personally I hate it, it looks like an OS made for kids. Glad I have stuck to IOS6 and iTunes 10 and let my housemate go first! Some of the features like radio are good but I cant really see what more it brings that I would really use more than I do now. I use the following

Text, Calls, Contacts, Facebook, Music, Camera, Safari, Mail, Calendar - that's about it, just some other apps like ebay and whatsapp

Not a fan of the icons/home screen (and agree they look childish) and hate the springboard thingy on the bottom, however I think the Apple apps (calendar, contacts, reminders etc...) look 100x better

I think you can leave it. I seem to remember it downloads... then count downs from ten, giving you a chance to delay the install, before it automatically installs. That's what mine did. Except that it failed to verify, so I had to click install again manually a couple of times.

Basically, if there are no problems, it'll do it all by itself once you've started the process... I think.

Cool thanks. Hope that's the case. I can be asleep dreaming of iOS7 installing hassle free ;)

Went through OK on iPad 2 after waiting a few minutes got it downloaded by about 6:30pm!
Not sure what I think. i hadn't really read much about it other than seeing screenshots.
Few of the new features missing on the iPad 2.
Not sure about the size of the icons and folders though. Seems a bit overkill. Think I preferred the smaller icons and more on show in a folder at once.
Also found it has done something odd to my wallpaper and stretched it so it now misses off the edges of the pictures.
Seems stable and repsonsive though. Going to have a dig around and see what features there are now.

Downloaded it OTA on my iPhone 5, but it won't install because software update is unavailable.

The software is on the device, but it won't verify :(

I blame Scott Forstall.

How can a calendar, contact or reminder look better? Its literally a calendar table with some text in a reminder or a contact! Simple and easy to see

I'll have more of a play tomorrow

One good thing, at least it has forced me to delete some crap apps and move photos etc so I now have more space :)

My iPhone 5 is finally updating now. I haven't used it since beta 2 I think, so it will be nice to see how it's improved.

People I know with iPhones are generally in a state of shock, will take a bit of getting used to for them. :p
