Getting "Media" Connect to work with 360

Hi i wanted to try this again. right the pc can see the 360 but the 360 cant see the pc even with the firewall off ?:/ is there a daft setting somewhere on the dash ?

You must be running media connect and enable file sharing.

TIP: if file sharing wont enable, its because you have disabled windows services that are needed!

Have you got them connected via a router or something? The console and the PC need IP addresses in the same range.

EDIT: Have you also got the WMC service running correctly on your PC, allowed the Xbox 360 to access it and shared any folders you want? You should have a little icon in the system tray indicating the current status of things.
