Getting music to the 360

I want to play some of the music I have on the PC whilst playing PGR3, apparently its possible and I can see my music on the PC via the dash but it won't play in games. I think this is because I don't have media centre just XP.

I've just tried to plug a portable HD into the 360 with some MP3s on but that doesn't work either

Do I have to rip the CD to the HD in the 360 directly? Or can I copy stuff from my PC to the 360 in some other way?

do you windows media connect in your control panel, thats all you need, if you haven't i think you can download it from MS for XP

I can connect the the PC and play music from the PC in the dash but not in game as far as I can see in the options

Press the guide button when ingame, it should be on the first screen iirc.

press the guide button so the blade appears in game at the bottom is the music player

Thanks guys that worked a treat, I love the way you can use playlists which are stored on you PC thats great!

Somehow I expected to have to do it through the game not the blade, I'm still amazed at how well everything intregrates with the song names and artists coming up in game even when they are my MP3s! Wicked
