spec
q9550
4gb of blackdragon 1066 ram
asus p5k pro mobo
bfg 2780 oc2
and cooling is via water just the cpu though
so if any1 could recemend any settings etc
as some of the settings i don;t know what there for, don't wanna go and cook somthing
thanks

You should be able to up them in small steps and gradually push the FSB/multiplier up to see about getting nearer 4ghz. I put 1.4ish volts iirc through my Q6600 on air. On water you shouldn't have to worry too much about temps, but keep an eye on them anyway.

ok will do any other options i should enable or disble in bios ive got a boring afternoon of nothing to do so i though id try and clock the nuts off the chip :D

I have 1.48 volts through my Q6600 on H50 (semi water?) in load. Bios its set to to something like 1.58 i think because of vdroop on my board.
Might need to increase MCH core (northbridge), termination and PLL if its similar to a q6600
