Hi

Here is a rundown of my PC . . .

Pentium 955 with 1066 FSB + 2Gb Corsair PC8500 + ASUS P5WD2e Premium + 2 x 150Gb Raptors

I am trying my best to get the RAM to work at its stated 1066Mhz matching the FSB but I can only get it to go to 890Mhz which is one down from the 1066Mhz quoted in the BIOS.

When I select 1066Mhz and reboot - it really doesnt like it - in fact I have tried it twice now and it wont even reboot!

What am I doing wrong - if I need to increase the RAM voltage please can someone let me know what level is safe etc etc

Cheers!

ok . . .

I tried 2.2 - but it just wont boot up - so I went a little higher and at 2.35 it boots - but after a little while it reboots on its own!

What else should I be looking at please?

I am an IT dummy . . .

please can you explain a little bit further - timings, 1T 2T etc so that I can adjust the BIOS as you have suggested!!!

Cheers
