My Girlfriend did me proud.

She knows how lost i am without the internet so when the providers said they couldnt install until the 17th of november..

she said "i go on holiday for 3 weeks on the 16th"

to which he said "well how about when you come back"?

gf :"That will be nearly christmas!, no thanks!. How about you send us the box/modem etc and we will do it our selves, when can u send that by?"

prov :"we can do that for friday, but hold on.. ill phone you back in 5 mins"

prov : "ok, an engineer will call to install all your gear on friday between 7 and 9am "

Im impressed by her fast thinking!, this is one way to speed up virgin media installation process. A few little white lies dont hurt anyone!

Do you already have the little white box on the wall? Because I'm surprised they send an engineer just to plug in the modem..

In the past i think the line was disconnected from the house or something, there is what looks like an old box (cover is missing and cables are loose) on the outside of the house. I know it once had cable previously, maybe the previous person didnt pay bills or summin

so it needs a new box or cover ithink
