Getting new Gfx card

Is your 7950 overclocked at all (whether it be by yourself or it came pre-oc'd), if so reduce them down to stock clocks and see if it still artifacts. If you don't mind and still want to go for a 290 I'd be looking at a Sapphire Tri-X, or a Powercolor PCS+ OC.
