Ever since I built my PC there has always been something wrong/im not happy about. Installed windows 8 the other day and updated the graphics drivers but now the monitor is not displaying the log on screen.

It will show everything up to the windows loading screen then turn off and flicker on/off. I've no idea how to resolve the issue and was hoping I could get advice from all of you.

Always been tempted to look for someone on here with expierence nearby that I could maybe take the computer too to see if its running/performing the way it should. I'm in belfast if anyone wants to suggest anyone?

Look forward to any help as i really have no clue where to go next :(

Have you tried using a different connector on your GPU?

Do you see the BIOS screen?

Have you tried one card at a time? Maybe a faulty SLI bridge.

Have you updated the BIOS? Have you set the BIOS to use the PCI-E gfx instead of onboard?

A couple of bits to try but first I would try with just one card connected/plugged in.

Had the same issue some time ago with W7 and SLI 470's.
Windows would load then the monitor would go dark at the login screen.

Only way round it was to disconnect the DVI lead from the VC, count to 5 then plug it back in.

The issue went away by itself with later drivers.
