Hey, as per title I am trying to get some old film developed, the film itself is was shot in 1972 AFAIK however the camera was probably 60's or maybe even 50's so the type of film could well have been obsolete for nearly half a century. Has anyone here had some old film developed? who/where did you use?

Thanks.

Depends what format and chemistry it is. What does it say on the packaging? If it's Kodachrome, i think there might be one lab in the US that can still process that chemistry. If it's colour (c41) or Slide (E6) then it's very likely that the emulsion will have degraded so much that you might not get a usable image from it. If it's B&W then you might be ok. http://www.peak-imaging.com/ are a pretty good, non chain lab and might be able to help you. Could always give them a call and see that they think?

What does it say on the packaging/label?
